Can you imagine genarating electricity playing football or any other sport that uses a ball. Nowadays it is possible with this new invention called the Soccket Ball. This is an idea of 4 students of the Harvard University and later developed by a company called Uncharted Play. The electricity is generated thanks to the kinetic energy produced when you kick this ball. Inside the ball, there is a coil with a magnet that moves like a pendulum when the ball is moving. This kinetic energy is saved in a capacitor for being used later as electricity. There is also an adapter for coneccting any device you want. By only playing for 30 minutes you can power a simple LED lamp for 3 hours. pastedImage.png Obviously this ball, is heavier than a plain fottball ball, the Soccket Ball is 482 grams heavy. It is quite light if you think of all the things it may have inside. For distributing this product, they had to promote a financing campaign and they raised over 75 million dollars. Because of this unexpected quantity of money they promised to improve even more their product.
I think this is one of the most useful inventions I have seen because like its slogan says ("Harnessing the passion") this is one of the best ways of producing electricity, by doing what you love.

Today, I would like to talk about an incredible invention that most of you haven't probably heard about. I saw it while i was surfing in the internet, and I couldn't believe that was true. The invention is Spraying WiFi, and it consists on a normal spray can with an unsual function. It seems very strange but it is completely real, it has been developed in the USA by Chamtech Enterprises. Although it is called Spraying WiFi it doesn't contain Internet, it contains a lot of micro antennas that can receive internet signal. For example, a tree can become a WiFi router only by spraying it with this substance . It seems unreal but inventions like this can change the future.
